1. Who we are

Readllly is a trading name of Aybent Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12317579), with its registered office at 7 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR, United Kingdom. Readllly is operated by Ayrton Forben, a director of Aybent Ltd, and Aybent Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. 2. Two different kinds of data (please read this first)

Readllly Chat was deliberately built so that your website visitors' chat conversations never reach our servers. This policy covers two separate things, and it's important not to confuse them:

• Data about you, as a Readllly customer or website visitor: your account details, your site's registration with our licensing system, and your credit usage. This is what the rest of this policy describes.
• Data about your own website's visitors, collected by the Chat plugin on your site: names, email addresses, IP addresses, and chat message content that your own visitors provide when they use the chat widget. This data is stored entirely in your own WordPress database and is never transmitted to or processed by Readllly. If you operate a website using Readllly Chat, you are the data controller for that information under most privacy laws, and you are responsible for your own privacy policy, retention practices, and compliance obligations regarding your own visitors.

3. Information we collect on readllly.com

When you visit our website, purchase credits, or contact us, we may collect:

• Contact information you provide directly, such as your name and email address, if you fill out a contact form, sign up for updates, or email us.
• Account and purchase information, including your email address and the site(s) associated with your Readllly Chat installation, for the purpose of managing your credit balance.
• Payment information, handled by our third-party payment provider (see Section 7). We do not directly receive or store your full card details.

4. Information we collect from Readllly Chat installations

When you install and activate Readllly Chat on a WordPress site, the plugin communicates with our licensing server ("the Hub") in a deliberately limited way:

That's the complete list. No chat message content, visitor name, visitor email, or visitor IP address is included in any of the above.

5. What we do not collect

We want to be explicit, since this is a meaningful part of how the product is built:

• We do not collect or store the content of chat conversations between you and your website's visitors.
• We do not collect the names, email addresses, or IP addresses your visitors provide when starting a chat.
• We do not use any chat content to train machine learning models, because Readllly Chat does not use AI-generated replies in the first place.

6. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Readllly Chat licensing and billing system
• Process credit purchases and maintain an accurate, auditable usage ledger
• Communicate with you about your account, purchases, or support requests
• Improve our products and website
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting recordkeeping

7. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with the following categories of service providers, only as needed to operate our business:

• Payment providers, which handle checkout and billing for credit purchases. Their handling of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store the Hub's site registry and credit ledger.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms & Conditions, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Readllly, our customers, or others.

8. Data retention

We retain site registration and credit ledger records for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed for accounting, tax, and audit purposes. Chat conversation data collected by the plugin lives entirely on your own website and is automatically cleared after 30 days by the plugin itself. This is governed by your own site's database, not by us.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and access controls on our licensing servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights regarding data we hold about you directly (account and billing information), contact privacy@readllly.com.

If your request concerns chat data collected by a Readllly Chat installation on someone else's website, we are not able to act on that request. You'll need to contact the operator of that specific website, since that data is stored on their site, not ours.

11. International data transfers

Our servers are located in the United Kingdom. If you are located elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in a different country than the one in which you reside, which may have different data protection laws.

12. Cookies

We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies on readllly.com at this time. If this changes in the future, we will update this section to describe what's used and why.

13. Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify active customers by email.
